The UK’s Premier Festival & Competition
for Amateur Wine & Beer Enthusiasts

News from the Wales and West

Our 56th Festival plans will be starting in July and schedules and booking forms will be ready in the Autumn.  No details as yet but we will keep you posted.

Our move to the Carlton hotel was deemed a great success.  Inevitably a few teething problems to fine tune next year but in all a fabulous weekend.  It was our Emerald celebration so the lady committee members all had their sashes, traditionally burgundy coloured, but in emerald green of course and the boys looked smart in their bow ties and cumberbunds.  We had a little short of 900 hotly contested entries of wine, beer, cookery and creative with over a 100 guests in attendance.

Our 55th Festival deemed to be a great success with three very well received tutored wine and beer tastings; entertainment each evening; fancy dress; 900 entries in the competition
